UA Ranked as #1 University for Metallurgical Engineering

In a new report from CEOWORLD Magazine, the University of Arizona ranked first among American universities for metallurgical engineering studies. The report compared tuition, average GPA, and general opportunities available for engineering students.

"Nowadays, industries are thriving rapidly, and there is also a growing demand for metallurgists; therefore, studying metallurgical engineering can provide students with more opportunities and better pay," the report stated. "In this scenario, choosing the best colleges will enhance the quality of study and placement opportunities."

The UA's metallurgical engineering program ranked above Virginia Tech, the Colorado School of Mines and the University of Alabama.
