Congrats to Fall 2014 Outstanding Senior!

Sarah Beal Cox was named the department's Outstanding Senior for fall 2014 at a special luncheon on Dec. 3. She was nominated by associate professor and associate department head Moe Momayez.

Sarah has been active in the UA SME chapter and the International Society of Explosives Engineering and maintained an internship throughout her senior year at Freeport-McMoRan's Copper and Gold central mine planning office. She has also worked with Call and Nicholas Inc., where she will be employed after graduation.
