Utah Plant

Danielle Taran, Class of 2015

Alumni Danielle Taran on an educational trip to Salt Lake City, Utah. One of her favorite things about the aggregate industry is that the locations are often in major cities, and you don't have to give up city life for your mining career. She visited about 6 quarries during this trip, all nestled along the mountains surrounding the city. This was the view from the top of the Asphalt Silos, and could see most of the plant and adjoining quarry.
